Hey Guys! What’s new? Well, I started a new job. Yes that’s right, no more sleeping in for me. I got a job in the Education Department as a teacher for the GED students. I started last week but tomorrow (Monday the 9th) will be my first day with my own class. I’m walking into three classes per day and none of them have any kind of lesson plan or syllabus. Its crazy! No worries because I’ll be implementing a lesson plan and trying to get things going over there. The last teacher was not very interested in the students so I’ll just leave it at that.
I’m also working on putting together a Catholic Resources for Inmates booklet, a prison ministry that I will be starting up. I’m contacting all the Catholic publishers and schools that I can to see if they have anything to offer the inmates. It’s so very hard to find out information in this environment and I know from personal experience because it has taken me eight years to get to this point but I will get it done. I hope to have a preliminary copy put out by the end of the summer. We’ll see. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Take care!
